Tami Jo Myers
(May 9, 1954 - November 8, 2009)


Tami Jo Myers, 55, of Pleasant Hope, MO, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at her home. Tami Jo was born May 9, 1954 in Ft. Riley, KS, the daughter of Roger & Norma (Agee) Walker. She married Randy Myers on October 18, 1986. Tami Jo was a registered nurse, having worked for Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Lafayette Regional Hospital in Lexington, and Citizen Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. In recent years, she served as a Certified Animal Control Officer in Bolivar. Tami Jo was a member of MACA and she was a Catholic.

Her survivors include her husband of 23 years: Randy Myers of the home; three sons: Cory Allnutt of Independence, Aaron Myers & wife Amylisa of Pensacola, FL, and Ryan Myers & wife Jennifer of Jacksonville, FL; her mother: Norma Young of Chillicothe; two sisters: Louise Wallace & Lorraine Wallace, both of Chillicothe; one brother: Gail Head of Chillicothe; and four grandchildren: Lukas, Madelyn, Thomas & Ashley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-7pm, Wednesday evening at the Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Missouri. Local arrangements were handled by the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri.
